Don’t Cheat Social Media
Jerry | September 10, 2009More and more often clients and prospects tell me that some marketing and media agencies are offering them Social Media and Digital PR strategies, based on paid Blogges to talk about their brands and products on their blogs and “Common People” organized on networks that will open facebook groups, or enter existing ones, write reviews on Amazon or Yahoo! Questions to make positive comments and this kind of stuff.
Please if you are a brand or marketing manager don’t do it. You can pay someone to be you fiend but that’s not true friendship, and that’s what social media it’s about
This is not social media or digital PR, remember the principles and consider de implications if you get caught, people won’t believe in your brand anymore!
