Hey Dan!!!

Thanks for your feedback I really appreciate this time to share with us why we didn't saw any social media integration? We are producing some AR and let me tell you, your project is the best I’ve seen! I’m looking forward for your next job

Hope to see you more often here!

best,

Jerry

Hey Jerry,

I'm Head of Interactive at PPC, and I stumbled upon your blog post, so I thought I'd post a reply.

The D.Fusion plug-in we used for the project does not currently support image or video capture. We have limited support across certain browsers and operating systems, but not enough to offer the kind of social media integration you're talking about. It goes without saying that these would have been popular features, and that we are working hard to ensure that anything we do like this in the future has them available.

To your point about offering masks for different transformers, there was surprising amount of work involved simplifying the models from the original ILM 3D down to something that can be supported by AR - it mean taking the polygon count from millions of polygons down to tens of thousands. Again, we'd have liked to offer some others, but we didn't have the opportunity.

I hope this answers your questions, and I'm glad that you enjoyed using the site,

cheers!
